Dragon Search is a great app for searching the internet using your voice. Similar to the popular Dragon Dictation App. Dragon Search in Canada (or Dragon Go in the US) allows you to say what you want to learn more about. Then it returns search results for Google, Wikipedia, Twitter, YouTube and Music. You can view the searches for any of those or open them up in a browser for a full screen experience (on the iPad).
Educationally this app would work great for young students looking to search the internet. Once they open up an website/article, video, etc that they are interested in they can use the build in Voice to Text feature of the iPad to read the article to them. Would work great for any students that prefer to use their voice to search.
Dragon Search and try if yourself. You’ll find it as an iPhone app.
